“Def Jam Rapstar” Set for Early October Release

Hip Hop fans your prayers have been answered in the form of Def Jam RapStar. The first ever all Hip Hop music interaction game developed by 4mm Games allows users to rap to their favorite Hip Hop songs…finally.


For those who have played Rock Band or Band Hero and wished they could sing along to Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” or Drake’s “Best I Ever Had,” no longer have to wait and wish for that day to come. Konami Digital announced the release of Def Jam Rapstar for October 5, 2010 and just in time to spend this coming Fall rhyming to Tupac’s “Better Days” and Outcast’s “So Fresh, So Clean.”

The RapStar bundle will debut for $69.99 and include one wired microphone along with the game software.

Konami also announced the addition of seven songs to compliment the over 40 of Hip Hop’s greatest songs that will be available on release day.

Outkast – “So Fresh, So Clean”
